Three Steps To Getting Your Site Listed On Google

1. Use the full power of automated link management websites and directories.  This is the easiest and best approach of getting links to your website.
2. Place a link or invitation for possible link partners. There are lots of webmasters who visit related websites and a number of them may want to link to you. Ensure that you offer them an simple and fast solution to initiate the link exchange.
3. Use high authority websites like http://Gather.com to produce traffic and increase your websites popularity. Remember that quality is king on such web sites, so don’t try to spam them. Become part of the community and your links will be more than welcome.
4. Start a Blog to Support your Web site. Create your own blog (you can do that for free with website, such as, Blogger or Word Press and start posting. Try to include a link to your website where the context of a post makes sense. Blog posting is effective plus has the potential to send thousands of visitors each week with just a few well written comments and some subtle hyperlinks to your website.
5. Try Forum Marketing. Join a few forums that are related to your web site and become an active member. Some website forums don’t allow you to place links in your posts. so, unless they are really valuable forums try to avoid these forums as they will bring you little benefit to your site. Also, try to post your comments to a sites that do not use no follow tags. If a web site utilizes no follow Google will not value that backlink. However, if the forum is popular you may get website traffic from the specific post itself.
6. Post on groups and online communities- again you need to provide valuable material and you must not spam the site.
7. Use social bookmarking websites such as http://digg.com or furl.com to create traffic to your site.
8. Yahoo Answers is another interesting resource for traffic. Make sure to become a real contributor to the website, and not just someone who places a link without any real content added to the site. Yahoo answers are no follow. So, you need to give good answers to get people to visit your site.
9. Link Bait- Provide something of value for free to your website visitors or newsletter subscribers. This may produce a viral effect in which visitors tell their friends about your web site. This will lead to increased traffic, plus it will let more website owners know that your site can be found. This will result in improving the chances of a link exchange.
10. Use article marketing. This is another viral marketing tool that has the potential to generate more and more incoming links toward your web site as the articles you sent in may get republished on other blogs and websites.
